My name is Jaspreet gosal. I have just passed my NCLEX and ready to start my nursing career. I am highly communicable, punctual and have a great eye for detail. My ability and willingness to go above and beyond for patient care is my main priority within the nursing field. Ensuring a patients quality of care and safety is my number one objective while I take care of them. I have had prior experience in a nursing facility as a volunteer and as an activity coordinator. Being around the residents at the facility I gained a first hand experience into the key areas that are beneficial for patients/residents. Not all benefits and key skills are related to medicine. As a nurse we have to be able to communicate with a patient and be open with them, so we can create a strong bond and trust. Working as an activity coordinator I was in charge of daily activities, exercises and to provide residents with something sustainable and worthwhile to do during the day. This step in my career helped me in my communication, empathy and verbal skills that are needed for being a nurse. My BSN degree provided me with the essentials and in-depth knowledge I need to be comfortable to step foot onto the nursing floor.
