Almost a decade of caregiving and still looking forward in helping people from all ages. I love the field, I have a lot of experience and I'm still in the field because there is always something to learn.

Some of my best personality traits are that I am enthusiastic, nurturing and generous. I am always honest and responsible. I lived on my own in Hawaii away from my family and it caused me to mature, become more responsible and learn to care for myself. I love to laugh and smile, everyone tells me that I always seem happy. I am attracted to being a caregiver because my grandparents are reaching the point in their life where they need constant assistance, and I hope to someday become a CRNA (a nurse anesthetist). I enjoy being a caregiver for the reason that making someone else feel better or even smile warms my heart. I have always been that person to turn to when they are in need because I am always happy to help. I have never had an obligation to, yet have always wanted to. A personal achievement I am proud of is working full 5 days a week while balancing school, sleep and my after-school activity, where I am in a symphony band. I have played the trumpet since I was 7 and haven't stopped since I picked it up. Music is something I feel passionate about. However being a caregiver takes up a bigger space in my heart.
