I began my caregiving career as a skilled CNA in a nursing home at the Care Center in Oakdale. Once I perfected my skills and with the proper work-methods, I resumed my work ethics at Oak Valley Hospital in the Rehabilitation Center; and was promoted by The Director of Nursing to a RNA position ( Restorative Nursing Assistant) working directly with professionals such as PT, PTA, Speech Specialists, RNs and Doctors. It was my absolute pleasure to see my patients regain their health and return home to loved ones. With my acquired experience and knowledge, great compassion and kindness, I became an independent caregiver and have worked as a private caregiver for over 15 yrs. I love what I do. I have met many wonderful clients and family loved ones; and graciously, I have received many letters of recognition. Through my caregiving process, I have worked diligently along side Hospice, applying my nursing skills to bring comfort to dying patients. My goal is to bring a quality of life to my clients with much joy and with a compassion filled with gentle kindness. I've completed training in the following courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, Last phase of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical, Alzheimer's & Dementia Basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, to name a few. Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences, their knowledge, and the wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I'm a very passionate, caring and loving person. I've been taking care of elderly people for over fifteen years. I took care of someone with spinal injuries, cancer, alzeimer/dementia and hospice patients and I know the daily challenges and changes they have to go through. I have met wonderful people in this journey they gave me the will and courage to continue in heping making a difference. My rate is negotiable.

I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 10. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background.
