Hello my name is Jessica May I am 48 years old and I am married and have been for 31 years and I have lived in Morehead Ky my whole life. I have been doing senior care/Adults with Disabilities for around 20 years. I took care of my grandmother for 5 years she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I took care of my dad for 3 yrs he had lung cancer. I have worked at Rescare for 12 years. I love working with seniors and people of all ages with disabilities and that's what I plan to do for the rest of my life because I enjoy learning and helping people cope with any trouble that they may be having or just trying to cope with daily living.

I am a very happy perky person who enjoys taking care of other in need. For example my granny had cancer she stayed with me or my mother I took her to appointments made sure she had her medicine, baths, and food. And of course love her and spend time with her. She has beat the cancer. I also have children I take care of everyday my own sometimes my sisters 3 boys as well.

So got certified after my GED, and got a job as a CNA I absolutely loved it . So I thought I would further my career I am now in nursing school also..I enjoy making other's smile. I am proud of myself for not giving up and trying to be someone, and thankful I have the love in my heart to give to others I think that's a huge quality trait that everyone would be proud of.

My grandfather had a stroke when my Mom was pregnant with me. He was bedridden for 21 years. I grew up helping to care for him and it's became a part of who I am. Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can make someone's day. I strive to bring a smile to every face that I meet.

I have been a C.N.A and or caregiver for about 15 years off and on. I have done in home care, assisted living, and long term care in a skilled facility. Caring for people has always been second nature to me. I enjoy taking care of people, making them feel a high quality of life. I am a mom of 4, with a bonus child and 2 beautiful grandbabies 1 of whom lives with me. I am married and we recently moved to Kentucky and are buying land!
