I am caring, considerate and an empath. What I do aligns perfectly with my personality traits which makes me a natural, and that's why I love it. I have over 4 years of experience in care giving and I loved every year, I enjoy what I do because I get to see life from a different perspective, I get to be someone's eyes, assistant and helper. I love that I get up everyday and be someone trustworthy and safe to be around. I love seeing people happy, well taken care of and feeling safe and I make an effort to bring that to my clients every time I show up. My greatest achievement in life is knowing that ever since I started this line of work, no family ever regretted choosing me. I grew up on a farm in Ohio with 8 sisters, 1 brother, 3 dogs & several cats, ducks & guinea pigs. I have volunteered most of my adult life with a multitude of organizations including: Hospice, the Humane Society, Make A Wish Foundation, the local library, Kitty Konnection (a feral cat rescue), the Rape Crisis Hotline, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, my local church. I enjoy helping people and the company of animals. My hobbies includes music, baking, traveling, reading, movies, and art museums. I have 2 grown sons & 6 grandkids, all of whom live in other states.

I'm a very outgoing caregiver that cares more about how the residents is feeling and the comfortability than my own! I love taking care of people, and the smiles I get when I come to there home to help them out is amazing! As for what attracted me to be a care giver is I see so many articles and shows on tv showing all of these residents being abused and it broke my heart and I wanted to make a difference so I decided to go to a technical high school were I got my CNA as well as all of my other certifications. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is the smiles I get when I do even the littlest thing s for my residents I am not saying it is always easy or picture perfect but I think of my residents as family members and treat them exactly how I would treat my own family member because you always have to think they did not ask to be in there situation and that is what I always refer back to. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is I went to a technical high school and got all of my certifications there and now am currently attending a university to further my education while working per diem. As well as currently looking for a full time job so I can continue helping people while also saving money for college.

I am an highly experienced LPN, with 20 years in home care experience. I take pride in providing great care to seniors or medically inclined individuals in their home. I do this privately. I provide flexible hours. Such as, nights, days or a 24-hour period, whatever is needed. While I provide care for you loved one, I earn my pay by cleaning and I am also willing, able and highly trustworthy to do small errands, such as (bills, groceries, etc.) References available upon request.
