I took care of my mother and sister when they were sick with cancer and when they both passed away God placed in on my heart and I have been going it every since. I am patiencent and understanding and most of all I care about your loved one. I became a PCA long ago because I wanted to leave an impact on my clients. Able to provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with family as well as members of the healthcare team. Feed, bathe and dress patients. Take patient vital signs. Serve meals, make beds and keep rooms clean. Set up medical equipment and assist with some medical procedures. Answer calls for help and observe changes in a patient's condition or behavior.

I'm a great caregiver because I'm passionate and very vigilant when it's come to caring for the elderly. I pay close attention to details. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to care for my oldest daughter grandmother for over 5years now, she currently has paranoid schizophrenia. Achievements, don't really have any as of yet. My ultimate goal is to obtain my CNA.
