Following rigorous cancer treatment, individuals and caregivers must fully commit to health restoration. While recovering from the disease, elders will likely experience fatigue, pain, swelling, dental problems, nausea, weight changes, or bowel and bladder issues as the aftermath of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Due to the fragility of seniors health, caregivers are especially attentive towards their individuals needs and wellness changes over time. Maintaining everyday household responsibilities such as cleaning, cooking and laundry; providing a healthy and low-fat diet; calming exercise; follow-up care with doctors and symptom monitoring are all important aspects of caring for cancer survivors.

Because I'm a very compassionate person and patient that it what makes me a very special and caring nursing aide. Also I love the work I do not because of the money and overtime that is involved but because of the satsfaction I get from helping people from day to day.
LTo tell you a little bit about myself, I am 30 yrs old, graduated in the Philippines with Bachelor in Science in Nursing also an RN there then migrated here in US last Oct. 2009 as a permanent resident.I am currently working for a diabetic client (I do give her insulin shots) in Beverly Hills and would love to find a job closer to where I live (Camarillo) as I am now a new mom to an almost 6 month old precious baby girl. Before this job, I did hospice care assignment in Oxnard, my client died from liver cirrhosis. I also have worked for a client Westlake Village who died in Brain Cancer. I have also worked for 2 clients in Camarillo. In Virginia, I have worked in 2 different assisted living facilities in memory care units which specializes in Alzheimer's/dementia clients. I have also worked in private home care for clients with Alzhiemer's, bed bound, with mobility problems, stroke, diabetes etc. Aside from patient care, I been administering meds to clients. I am a board certified medication aide there, since in Virginia, it is required to be certified before staff could administer meds. Before, I left Virginia, I worked for the City of Virginia Beach on their intermediate care facility for clients with intellectual disabilities, I did patient care and administration of meds, documentation as well as going on their outings. I have experienced giving meds orally, through G-tubes, as well as G-tube feeding and even insulin administration. Also, experienced in getting vital signs and blood sugar level. I would love to take care of your loved ones if given the chance. My client's well being is my utmost concern and taking care of my clients is my passion. My number is 7 5 7 - 7 5 3 - 2 8 4 1. Have a day and hope to hear from you soon.
Respectfully,

My willingness and my passionate for this career makes me an amazing caregiver. I choose this career because as I child I would watch my mom take career of my grand parents and I would always be amuse. I get to love it and from that I had a passion for helping others and start focusing on a career in the caregiver field. I Love the caregiver field because taking care of people motivates and makes me happy, when I'm taking care of people it don't feel like work.
Being a single mother of two I did what I had to to raise my girls. Managing a restaurant was hard work and long hours. I didn't start doing what I wanted to until after they had left home. I've always felt a need to help others, even when I couldn't help myself . I'm compassionate , caring, patient, empathetic, and understanding of how certain diseases affect the patient. Not all stroke victims, Alzheimer's or disabled patients are the same. I work with people based on their personality and their specific needs. I was raised to treat people like I want to be treated and that's how I try to live my life

I enjoy the most about giving the client one on one care! Providing services to meet their needs and make them as comfortable and happy as possible! Reassuring the client that I'm here to help you and provide a fun and welcoming personality. I have 19 years of experience in the medical field and work with clients in their home, nursing home and hospital setting.
I became a caregiver, because I always wonted to help people. The most gratifying feeling to me is the helping someone that can't do for themselves, and to feel appreciated. My grandmother passed when I as 18 and I loved her dearly, I have always had a soft spot for the elderly and handicapped. This is my way of giving back. my personal achievement is getting my CNA, phlebotomy training, and CPR. I have a lot of experience in the medical field, I have worked in Rehabs ,surgery centers, hospitals, and private duty. have over 19yrs. experience.
I'm a great caregiver because I'm compassionate about helping the elderly and disabled
to have a better quality of life .Knowing that growing older for some can be challenge but
having someone to help you get through those diffulcult times by making day to day life easier can make a big difference. It gives me joy to be a part of making someones life better.
As a highly competent caregiver companion, I bring a service- focused and hardworking attitude to this role. I maintain an efficient and organized work mentality as I assist in the care of several geriatric and chronically ill patients. I have an instinct for problem solving and work well independently and with little oversight. I am compassionate, outgoing, resourceful, and believe that trust and honesty are key when in a caregivers role. I was attracted to care giving due to my need of wanting to help people. What I enjoy the most is building a bond and being apart of the recovery process. My biggest achievement in care giving was being able to help my mom over a period of two years recover from her Ru in y Gastric bypass surgery. Prior to her surgery she had diabetes and kidney disease for 3 years and didn't think she would make it to the age of 40. After her surgery I was apart of the recovery process and seeing her healthy and free of diabetes and kidney disease has been the best experience and biggest accomplishment in my life. Therefore I want to continue and help others because its what I truly love to do.
I became a caregiver because I was already going to pursue a career in the medical field, and I wanted to get a feel for being in a medical environment. The enjoyable part about being a caregiver is getting experience working with around patients and other medical professionals. A personal achievement I am proud of is getting my CNA license in the 11th grade. With that license, It has taken me one step further into the medical field and has also encouraged me to pursue a medical career in the first place. A little something about myself is that I am very charismatic and people tend to take comfort in me because of my positive personality.
