I will be good to you or your loved one, and will be like part of the family.
Hello, I am Cosaundra Chapple this is my choice for my career. I chose to be a blessing for someone . I recently was faced with my sister being terminally ill , I was worried that she would not get the proper care? at this time when families are going through something so devastating they need not worry about proper care for their love ones . I wanted to be that one to bridge the gap to add less stress on the family. I have several years experience.

I became a CNA two years ago with the heart for helping people who have a hard time helping themselves, witch is something I am very compassionate about, I have worked in a long term care facility for a little over a year in that time I picked up on many different skills, for example how to redirect a Alzheimer's patient, what things I need to watch out for on stroke patients, how to treat and prevent bed sores, what types of things to watch out for with residents with diabetes, those are just a few of the many things that I have learned..I think the most important thing about what I do is learning about my patients, their likes and don't likes, their routines;witch is very important with patients with Alzheimer's, communication with the family and above all respect and trust..I love what I do and I am very compassionate about my job..
I think what makes me a great caregiver is the experience I've had in my life, from an early age I spent most of my time in the hospital, having surgery after surgery, bed-ridden for years, recovered now, I am even more capable of empathetic and know just the difference I as a caregiver can make in a person's life. I never planned on this career path, I just was given the chance and took it, only to discover how much I truly adore my work.
I became a caregiver because I've always loved helping people. One of the things I love the most about being a caregiver is seeing how happy it makes the resident or patient when you help them or just when you say hi or just sit and listen to all their stories of their life. It's amazing how you can make such a big impact on someone by just doing any of those things. One of my achievements that I'm proud of is becoming a Cna. Also I'm a very caring person I love to help others I'm very pationate about what I do and I always give 110% when caring for a resident or patient.
