Hello my name is sonja im a certified caregiver been certified since 2011 I specialize in dementia and alzheimer i have special training for that as well. I also have lots of experience working with elderly that dont have dementia or any other memory impairments. This is definitely my calling i love being around elderly people and being able to help them in any way i can i treat them as if they were my own grandparents because i would want the same for mine

I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2. Being a caregiver I like helping older people meet their needs helping them reach their goals and seeing smiles on their faces.My personal achievement that I am proud of when I go to work and I make my resident smile and they know that they have someone every day to look up to that make them to feel they are love and care for. I am a very patient person a people person,friendly sociable and fun to be with love helping others in need mainly senior citizens very capable hardworking and love to listen consider every resident like my family enjoy being able to put a smile on a resident face I currently have clients that appreciate my ethic and style. I'm compansionate with my job as a Care Giver... I love to taking care of elderly and treat them as my family. For me caregiver is angels, I choose this profession not just to earned, it's the passion within to served, to share my Gods greatest gifts and to continue my mission to help others. I don't have to much skills but I believe that Attitude is better than Skills. I'm just a certified care giver and new to this Industry but I will make sure to do my duties and responsibilities based in the experience that I have.

What would make me be a great caregiver is that i have a sense of empathy, caring either for a small child to and elderly person. I understand and connect most of the time with Patients that they can create a sense of calmness and trust with in me. I also have lots of Patients for those in need of my help i listen to what ever they have to tell me so they can feel some affection towards a caregiver. What attracts me to being a caregiver is that i myself have grandparents living with me i know as getting to a certain age you need help and cant do many things for yourself, There for this is when i realized this would be a perfect job for, since i love to help others in need or may need any type of resources from me.
