I developed my passion to be a caregiver after i took care myself of my husband who died of cancer. We then are in and out of the hospital and everyday i saw how sick and old people need their fellow to take care of them and look after them. During my day to day experience doing my job i feel a sense of happiness and fulfilment in what i do knowing i am able to help somebody who needs me.

My name is sulayman hydara, I moved to Washington state August 2001 from newyork ,I came here to go to school To become a nurse ,but due to financial problem I have to quit and I become a cna ,I work in many nursing home and cute care setting ,I love working in health care ,because I llike helping people and make difference in their life ,assisted them to become independent,I love pets animals except snake .I still don't give up on my education may be one day I will become a nurse .

I became a caregiver because I have a compassionate heart to the most vulnerable people of our society, and patience to work with the those with challenging behavior. mostly I like to of service to others. I like being a care giver because I find joy in being of help to the helpless, giving them love and respect. Helping them help themselves. I like also to learn from them. I like team work that bring change in someone's life. I am proud doing well in applying all care plans of each client as required. I never have any serious misconducts in any of the jobs I have done. I works in harmony and peace with the team members of the clients. I am proud of my dedication to the service of humanity. I am a woman full of compassion, non-violence person, respect all human being. I can be very sensitive to any human abuses. I can live and work with different peoples. I try always finish what I am suppose to do. I am a woman who fear God.

I start to work as a care giver in 1999, and I was able to do a good job, because I like to treat elderly with respect and dignity, and do my best to meet their needs, and their families, so I become a provider on my own AFH, and now I am proud of being a CNA, able to care for all kind of needs, including hospice care.-
