I became a caregiver because I love to help people in need. Getting to help people be more independent with some of their life skills. I went to college to become a Medical Assistant and I got it done and I was ready to help people. I'am a really caring person I love helping others in even if I go without.
I became a care companion because I love the company of the elderly. They are true role models to look up to and I love improving their quality of life. An achievement that I accomplish daily is meeting the clients , and families expectations. Going above and beyond being the best companion I can be.
I like helping people out, I am currently in school working towards my medical assisting license. I have had previous experience I was a caregiver I would drive around to elderly people’s houses I would help with meals, housekeeping, laundry, shopping, as well as hygiene. And I have been babysitting children as well. I’m really into that kind of stuff and I really like helping and taking care of people. Since I am in school my schedule might not work with everyone else’s, but my schedule is pretty open and I am very flexible. I have a resume as well as references.

I have worked in the retail industry/customer service all of my life and I love it. In my 20 s I worked for employers and I moved up the latter quite rapidly. In my 30,s I sold real estate and did well. I created my own property management company and it too is successful. But, something was missing within. Knowing that I have a natural calling and a deep desire to help others, to genuinely care about them, and the love I have for people even if they`re strangers to me. So, I went to school and started working in the medical field as a C.N.A. I fell in love with my-self because of what I was doing for others everyday. I have a sense of true accomplishment, real self worth, peace, and realizing I have made a difference in some ones life. This is very different than the reward I get from helping people choose their home or the color of their carpet. A lot of my work comes to me from previous clients. I have raised two children who are wonderful people. My daughter is a school teacher and my son serves our country. Their desire and motivation for helping and contributing to other comes from their morals, values, and a deep down drive in their heart which I believe I played a role in while raising them. I am very proud of them and also my 3 grandchildren who also demonstrate the same appreciation for life. Thank you for your time in considering my interest in employment.
I have embarked on a new journey in my career, I want to help our older families enjoy their later part of their happy lives. I have the desire, love, warmth, responsibility and I want a chance to help. I helped take care of my dad who had COPD, and a wonderful woman who lived in my RV park before her family took her home. They told me I should do this full time and after thinking about it, I decided they are right! So I have been working for a company called Right At Home and I have been taking care of three beautiful women. I am so excited about my journey, let me help you with your family's journey.
