Being a caregiver provides a personal attachment to your patient or resident. I love seeing the outcome of my patients, seeing them better themselves and knowing him or her on a personal level. I became a caregiver to be that family member or close friend who will be there to take care of and help along a person when in need. As a student in high school I became a CNA while working in the medical field for 2 years and setting up a career after high school. It was very hard for me to do however I achieved my goals by graduating high school, becoming certified, and joining the military. I am indeed a giving person and I love giving back. Becoming a caregiver is one things I love to do because its another way to make life better for someone else besides me.
