I became a caregiver because i enjoy helping others.I like the satisfaction of knowing that i am making someone else's life more tolerable and comfortable.I am proud to say that i have saved a few peoples lives when they stopped breathing or was choking, and i acted quick enough to do that for them.I have been a CNA for 25+ years. After over 30 years working in IT with computers, 10 years ago I reinvented myself in the healthcare field starting as a Certified Nurse Aide. Conducts both in / formal psycho-educational, recreational and interpersonal skills development groups. Observes and influences patient behaviors and interactions towards prescribed treatment goals.
