Well I'm 24 I'm a current nursing assistant I will soon be a certified CNA. I started working as a caregiver after my sister got me a job as dietary aide in a rehab/assisted living facility she was CNA there. After working there for over a year I realized I loved working with different patients knowing I can help them. Soon after I started working as a caregiver at memory care facility. I work with dementia and Alzheimer's patient. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping my patients love the best life they can. I do try to let my patients be independent the most they can so they don't feel like there unable to do anything. I'm there to assist there needs from helping them eat to bathing them. I am CPR certified. I enjoy talking to them doing activities to make them feel better. I've worked with a variety of patients from having a colostomy bag to using a lift.
