I am a 35 yr old single mother.i have a little over 8 months experience in being a PCP/ caregiver. I have atook care of two elderly woman who were placed on hospice care. I ran a child care out of my home for 2 years where I took care of two children. I have experience in residential,office building,and motel cleaning and over 6 years customer service. I love music, drawing, and traveling. I am a dependable hard-working individual. I believe its important to be on time and sticking to and paying attention to any schedule put fourth for your loved one. I enjoy spending time with your family member going on walks/outings, or recommend excersises.(doctor appointments, grocery shopping, or simply assisting them while we go to check the mail) working with them on the appropriate activities.. I have had a large amount of clients that had dementia ( using word search, puzzles,paint by number, memory games) to list a few are very good memory excersises to keep the brain working. I enjoy cleaning and laundry and have had many compliments for my cleanliness, and help (if needed) with organization. I love to listen and learn about your loved ones past history. I like to learn about them... what they like or don't like ...(food,fav TV shows ect..) I approach my job as a PCP/ caregiver as a companion then just a job. I care for any individual that I am working for as if I were a lived on of my own or with the thought..if this were me how would I want to be treated... I like your family member to feel good about them selves while assisting them with dressing and personal hygiene/ grooming. I like them to feel comfortable with me in their home, and still know that is their home and I am a helpful guest...

I love helping people I have a disabled daughter who was born with a lot of issues she needed 24 hour care I was 20 knew nothing about any disabilities...was giving training threw nurses and some of her drs...she wasn't excepted to walk talk or live very long she is now 33...i cared for her until she was 20 then made a decision to place her in a residential housing...since then I have been a caregiver once for a elderly man he was 94 I liked helping him he was a caring man we would talk for hours I assited him with showers cooked and cleaned during the hours his son was working I enjoyed being his companion he would always be happy when I was around.iaround.i also was the caregiver for my in laws he had cancer and she had copd I was very happy to help them it made me feel goid that I was there to help them with assisting in their needs...i have worked in residential homes in assuring with everyday needs...it makes me feel needed and happy to help in any way to make their lives a little easier and give companionship and to be a friend...i enjoying being a caregiver knowing I'm helping someone to make it alittle easier for them and to let them know that I care and will help in any way I can even to be that friendly smile to make their day brighter....i know CPR and know about copd some cancers worked with stroke patients i know how having a disabled child can be hard so I want to be able to help relieve some of the pressures off the family's and provide the best care which is always a 100 percent I am very reliable trustworthy loyal a dependable I promise you won't regret having me a a caregiver for your family member

I belivee to be detail oriented to bea caregiver on to acknowledge each customer, client or resident their changes each and every day. i am good with companionship and are a great listener. I have a big heart as a caregiver and the needs for those who I care for is very important to me and the family. What I enjoy as being a caregiver is activities of daily duties. I want to make sure the care for them is more important and the importance of their personal hygiene the care for their activities for light exercises and the hours for when they have eaten or not is very important before helping them with other things such as light housekeeping. The concern for the client's health is more important than anything else.
