I began as a nurturer early in life helping care for my grandmother. She had a stroke when I was 12, we cared for her in our family home until it was evident she needed more than we could provide. While doctors and nurses over-see some aspects of care, the real ability to effect change and reach a person is in the trenches with direct care. I am a compassionate, task driven, detail oriented person with a wide base of care giving skills. I am mom to a 9 year old girl and an auntie to many nieces and nephews. I have a variety of experience ranging from long term care, assisted living, home health, hospital worker, and residential psych with children ages 6-18. On a personal level, I have assisted many family and friends when hospice was involved. My other work experiences include banking, machinist, and freight broker. I was born to care for others, help them learn to advocate for their needs, show them that we don't need to walk this path alone.

For example, I provide direct supervision and patient support, engage patients in therapeutic activities, organize and run group programs.
