I am a compassionate, caring single mother of 2 (20 & 14). 18 years ago I worked as a CNA at Cripple Creek Rehab and Wellness Center, where we had a elderly care, rehabilitation for drug and alcohol addicts and also some psychiatric care with both mental and physical disabilities. I also worked Maxim staffing agency working as a temporary CNA for numerous nursing homes in Colorado Springs, to include hospice care. I then married and decided to stay home to raise my children and let me license expire. I have since been a single mother for the past 10 years and decided to return to school for computer skills to support my family. Recently my youngest son and I have been volunteering with some homeless outreach organizations (Blackbird outreach & Spreading Smiles and Sandwiches Facebook Group) and it has reminded me how much I enjoy helping others and providing support to those in need. Now that my family is older and smaller I have decided I am able to return to this type of role as my career and am reentering this industry. The proudest moment in my life is two fold, raising my children as a single parent with good morals and values and also earning my Bachelor & Master degrees while providing for my family.
