Hi! I have been in healthcare for over 6 years, I have trained in hospitals, health and wellness clinics, and outpatient care. I have formal and educational experience. I am a CNA/CMA/HHA/CPT currently in school to obtain my Rn to further my education and experience for my clients to have the best care they can get. I have worked exclusively in senior home care for the last 2 years and have found my soul passion in life, I build bonds with my clients and make them comfortable and always stay positive no matter the circumstances!

I never know what to write when it comes to this part. Most people say I'm happy go lucky, I have a quirky sense of humour. I guess I would have to my step mom introduced me to the field, She was a nurse in a long term care facility, they were short handed and needed help. Needless to say I was very young and didn't last long. As I got older and became a single parent I needed work and it just seemed like the natural thing to do, to become a caregiver to others outside of my children. I believe my greatest joy in doing this job is helping others and making a difference in their lives, even if it's just making a snack or a meal, or shaving a face or combing hair. Sometimes is the smallest thing that make the biggest difference for someone. I would have to saY my personal achievement I'm most proud of is raising my children alone to adulthood, to be respectful, productive adults. Now helping to raise my youngest grandson.

I'm a very caring individual that likes to help the elderly in need. Starting when My dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. I helped my mom with care for him. I saw it through with hospice where he passed at home in 2018. I enjoy the one on one care with the other person, getting to know their needs and Interests makes it a fun and engaged atmosphere to make them as comfortable as possible. I'm glad to say that I've helped the person I care for to engage in more exercise In going up and down the stairs , slowly , but she did it instead of using her chair Lift! She felt better about herself for her ability to work on her knee issues! She did great! I was very pleased that she went up and down the stairs on her own, with my Guidance of course, but she succeeded in applying herself in some good exercise! I'm currently available on Monday , Wednesday, and Friday mornings /afternoons. Hours available between 9-3. Available every other Sunday 9-3.

A great caregiver must be attentive, compassionate and reliable. I became a caregiver because I like helping people and makes difference to their lives. Making a difference in someone's life every day is personal achievement l am proud of.

Caring for people is my passion! My mother was a cna all her life so I grew up in nursing homes volunteering at an early age. Love helping and doing as much as I can for our elders as they have helped us. I'm a fun, energetic at times, loving person that is just trying to reach out my hand to help another

I like to believe things come full circle, treat and care for one as you may need this assistance at some point in your life I have many years experience with a multitude of Health issues, I have worked very closely with Hospice and VNA Nurses , cared for Parkinson, Dementia, Supra Nucleous Palsy as well as other Related care as well..
