I graduated from Dutchess BOCES in 2014 where I received my title as a certified Nurse Assistant where I did my training and received my clinical hours in different nursing homes. Where I had to care for people with different conditions. From alzeimhiemer, dementia, and hospice. Working with these people has helped me get more experience with patients that need care . I am working for Community home health care and they have sent me to different cases of people with their specific needs. One especially is a women who has ALS, it's a disease of the lack of communication of the brain and muscles. This woman is completely paralyzed, caring for her requires specific needs 24/7 and she is mentally good so she can tell me what she wanted at any time. Caring for her has helped me become a better caregiver because I would do everything for her.
