Being a caregiver for 10 years has helped me in so many ways, I have worked in Nursing Facilities, Private Duty, HomeCare etc. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of people that need my help gives me joy in my heart. Caregiving changes your perspective on life and Realize what is important in life. Nothing is meaningless during this time of intensive caring. Even under the most challenging circumstances, taking care of someone you barely know and to grow a connection gives me and the person a sense if peace. A personal achievement i'm proud of was to be able to take care of my grandfather in his time of need. It took alot of heart and patience because he was family. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client's day, that means a lot to me.
