• Implement security screening procedures that are central to Transportation Security Administration objectives and that will serve to protect the traveling public by preventing any deadly or dangerous objects from being transported onto an aircraft. • Assist in conducting screening of passengers, baggage and cargo. • Assist in monitoring the flow of passengers through the screening checkpoint to facilitate the orderly and efficient processing of passengers. • Maintains close communication with supervisors regarding any issues that might reveal a weakness or vulnerable area of security screening that is discovered in the course of screening duties. • Participates in information briefings concerning security-sensitive or classified information. Passenger Support Specialist • Assist passengers with needed support through security checkpoint. • Provide assistance to passengers with medical disability. • Maintain passenger safety, comfort, and privacy. Secretary for the Employee Advisory Council • Records minutes of the meetings and distributes to Council members (minutes may be requested by an employee and made available with the approval of the FSD or designee) • Assists the Chairperson in setting agendas then distributes them • Keeps a record of attendance and other business records as directed by the Chair • Writes and sends out correspondences as needed
