When I became a caregiver more than twenty five years ago it was because I had a passion to help those who are in need of support by providing them with the necessary care to enhance their quality of life. Caring for a person in their home is like caring for a family member in that the same integrity shown towards my own must be shown towards persons in my care. The best part of being a caregiver is knowing that my work can make a difference in someone lives, being able to give them a sense of well being and providing them with an environment that is safe for them to live in. Helping them to maintain as much independence while assuring that their health and livelihood are important.
