I became a caregiver in August 2009 for my father, Brian. After a series of tests my father was diagnosed with early - stage of cancer. I have always taken care of my father because my mother was never around to provide support to the family. His condition is still in the early stages, but I am worried about the future. I've been a Qualified Care Provider for over 20yrs my mother had taken sick and I was blessed to care for her till she passed away 6 yrs ago. she had congestive heart failure high blood pressure, diabetes and major depression In between caring for her I decided to foster two children for 8 yrs that I am now a proud adoptive mom! They both was diagnosed with ADHD/attention deficit also major depression. 1 yr I had a client that had 2 strokes and non verbal he had gotten really sick had to go on hospice I took care of him until he passed away he was a joy! God saw fit that caring for others was my gift to him.
