I am Eduardo from Australia,35 year old individual in fair health & shape currently seeking people who needs some assistance & help to make their life a bit more easy-going. I very close to my grandmother & I have always been involved taking care of her since I was 16. I have been in this field since 2015.I have experienced a new found liking for caring & helping out seniors & population with other special needs . I have worked with patients with dementia,Alzheimer,schitzofrenia,Down syndrome,aids,hospice care ,quadriplegia.I am trained in using pelican lifter/hoist ,changing diapers,cleaning ,personal hygiene ,cooking . I like to be attentive & be quick -witted to get things done fast & efficiently & slow down to cater to needs of the patient . I love the sense of giving back out there in the society in my own little way . It gives me pride & a sense of achievement . I very proud of how I form a special bond with most of my patients to get things done easily & in a fun way. I am proud of my achievements of work with people with special needs ,old age & addiction I have been staying in America specially in New York City for the last two years since I moved from Australia in October 2018 ,it's been a rollercoaster ride of adventure and excitement. Back home used to work in the same field for over six years. I take pride in what I do and I definitely have a special flair for helping helping out people and looking out for their needs . I have been testing biweekly for covid & been negative so far & have been observing hygiene & safety procedures always .I don't smoke,drink alcohol or do drugs . I'm working as a Hha with patient that suffer from traumatic brain injuries. Being a care giver to me is more than just providing care to someone. Caring for another is about showing compassion, respect, being by their side. Patience is also a key in the aspect of taking care of the patient. I always had a passion for taking care of loved ones. I believe that i am very emphatic and compassionate working with people in their home I want to make sure I give the best care that I can in every possible way, by showing compassion and empathy I allow my patient to understand that I'm here for you, also allowing them to know that I care. I am very patient, I been working with patients with traumatic brain injuries for about 2 years and I've learn to cope and understand how they feel. I'm flexible as well. I enjoy being a caregiver the reason for that being is because at the end of the day I know that I've made that patient comfortable/happy even on their worst days. I know that I did the best that I can in helping them. A personal achievement that I really proud of as a caregiver is helping a little girl with cerebral palsy walk. I work with her for about a year, everyday we tackle small milestones until she walk. She still need some assistance but the most impaortant things is that she can do it on her own with her walker.

I became a caregiver because I love caring for others and I like knowing that I made a difference in someone's life. I am very proud of myself for becoming independent. I am very friendly, honest, a people person, and I am always smiling, even on my worst days. I have a great sense of humor and I also love anticipating the needs of others.

I became a caregiver to provide warmth and comfort the the elderly and disabled. I like making the client feel secure and know that they can trust me. I give 110% to everything I do. When they see a familiar face everyday it makes them feel good and their willingness becomes better as the days go by. Their faces light up and they talk to you about anything that's on their mind. Even if they say the same things over and over again, it gives them great pleasure that you are willing to listen. Seeing the happiness on their face is the best achievement that I could ever give. Knowing that they are happy and content. I have been doing this so long, it doesn't feel like a job more like accomplishment. Helping people who can't help themselves. Lite housekeeping, medication reminder, food preparation, bed bath, baths, errands, medical visits, arts and crafts, accompanying them outside, laundry, inventory and anything else they will need. My serves is available Monday thru Friday. Full days

I became a caregiver after being downsized from scheduling and making sure that patients made there doctors appointments. I decided that I loved working and making sure that people were taken care of. I love the smiles and the thanks you get from your patient. The most personal achievement that I am proud of is from working to make sure my patient made it through hurricane Katrina.
