I became a Caregiver in 1998 because i enjoy helping others. I enjoy talking to and listening to the awesome stories that clients tell about their life. You began to get to know one another and build a bond. I am currently CPR and First Aid Certified. I have over 20+ years as a CNA.I am currently in school to finish my degree in Education. I hope that in the future, i will finish my goals and become what i always wanted to be. An Educator

I am a very positive and down to earth person . I love to help people in anyway that I can. I wanted to become a caregiver to fulfill that gap of family members not being around as much and to make my clients feel like they are at ease.

1. Why did you become a caregiver? I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2. A personal achievement that I am proud of is caring for a client who didn't have any family and couldn't care for herself and becoming a big part of her life. 4. Tell us something about yourself? I am a very hard-working young woman I love being a certified nurses assistant. I love to helping people who aren't able to help themselves as if they would like to. I am very honest, passionate and loving.

Hi my name is Jennifer and I have always enjoyed taking care of people in one fashion or another. I became a CNA in 1993 in NC and worked in many different venues ie; Ltc facilities hospitals , home health and agency. The medical field always has fascinated me so here I am almost 30 years still involved in it. I have also work as a customer service representative so I never ventured far from dealing with people. If I can impact a person's life by helping in a small way then I have served my purpose for that given day. One of my hardest experiences I have ever endured was when I took care of my Mom when she was given a terminal diagnosis of cancer. That in itself showed me that my job as a caregiver is always needed desperately.

I am dependant, reliable, compassionate and caring. I have worked with children and adults with varying disabilities and needs. I became interested in being a caregiver at an early age when my parents brought me to their places of work working with adults with varying degrees of cognitive disabilities. The things I enjoy most about being a caregiver are getting to know different individuals personally and being able to help in any way possible. I also enjoy knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life even if in a small way. A personal achievement that I am proud of is making a connection with a 7 year old boy who came to the school for children with special needs that I was working at that allowed him to start trusting adults enough that he started flourishing in our program.
