I am a patient and compassionate individual who has been around the caregiving fields, specifically focused on adults with physical and mental disorders and diagnoses, since childhood. I am passionate about providing not only quality care to individuals who require assistance with their daily lives, but emotional support and companionship, as well focus and dedication to any active treatment amd skill building/retention that is possible.
I was raised by my grandparents and helped care for them from my early teenage years to now. I have experience with Alzheimer's, diabetes, COPD, and some post surgery recovery experience. I'm also the oldest of ten so I have no problem with caring for young children and I have a lot of patience. I care for a variety of animals and have a passion and understanding for all walks of life. I love enriching someone else's life and knowing I'm making a difference in someone's day. I went to culinary school and was a prep cook for a year and take pride in my culinary achievements.
Hi there. My name is Andrea and I have been working as a private caregiver for over 10 years now. I started out caring for family members. I have since been working in this field of work caring for several families. I absolutely love what's I do. I have a soft heart for the older generation and love to be as helpful as I can be. I have worked with many different clients whom have all become my family. I can help with cleaning, cooking to checkecking vitals and personal care. I have many references as well as letters of recommendation. I understand the struggle of finding a good dependable caregiver. I am very dependable, work hard and go out of my way to make sure my client is well cared for. I would love a chance to help with your loved one.
I was raised in a family of numerous health care providers. My father worked as a physician in emergency medicine for 22 years. I have 2 older siblings that pursued the medical field as well and chose psychiatry as their profession. I chose nursing as it allows me to be more intimately involved with the family and patient.
