Ever-since being introduced to this career, I have acquired the passion and enthusiasm into taking care of, not only seniors, but people of all age groups who desperately require care and assistance and having to make them feel secure and happy in their own environment, homes and communities and making an impact in their lives so that they may get through each day with comfort and peace. I have taken care of several patients in the past from which I have had many different experiences with, which involved bathing, laundry, toilet assistance, hoyer lift, meal preparation, feeding, using feeding machine, medication, doctor/nurse visits, dental appointments and moreso with hospice cases.

I learn from day to day through out my Dailey task and use it as a tool to create a positive mentality to carry on I grew up in a household most of my family became a care giver and teacher because we love giving back to the community in any possible way of help I like to bund with my clients to build a trust and companionship, and learn from each other. I've learnt to listen and put myself in there shoes to understand them and do my best to my knowledge to help.

Ive been a caregiver the majority of my adult life...i was fortunate to have a husband who was the primary provider, allowing me to make a home for our family. Im Cheerful and funny, there has never been a shortage of laughter in my home; i miss that now that my kids are grown.. I enjoy the little thing life has to offer...such as the sunrise or the dew on the roses in the morning, the cooing of a newborn baby or the stories told by the elderly.. i also do not shy away from household chores, i feel lkke the homes i work in better look cleaner when i leave ,than they do when i arrive...im not one to leave things undone. I provide personalized care for each client, working closely with family members to ensure the very best care for everyone. Im a good worker easy to get along with people And i been working with elderly about 15 years. I been working with dementia resident. I love to work with elderly because thier like my parents and grand parents im loving and caring person and when i work not just work is with my heart. And i treat. Them as my own family i really care for them . I making sure that i would give them a good quality care that they needs .

When I was the age of 16 starting taking care of a young disabled girl from church, from there I really loved working with people who need care and assistance. I then got a job working at Independent Options at 19yrs old taking care of special needs adults. I had been working in the same company for 20yrs. I started as a DCS then moved up to House Manager. I became a caregiver after learning of my moms illness. It opened up a door in my heart that I will never be able to shut. I took the best care of her while she was passing, she was comfortable, clean, and loved. I have started going to school in the medical field, I now have a medical assisting license and plan to return to nursing school in July.
