I have always loved the medical field and caring for people. I was a caregiver for my mother when she first had breast cancer and shortly after had to have a Colostomy bag. The following year my mother began having severe Alzheimer's Disease. I was working full time at an OB/GYN office and nights and week-ends at a Resort. My Father and mother moved in with me so I could help with care. I quit my 2nd job and helped with my mother. My mother needed 24 hour care so I helped with bathing, medications and changing of personal care. I had a friend caring for her mother with Alzheimer's and we would help each other with our parient's care. Im a very caring and loving person and feel I would like to help with others in this situation. I understand what it is like letting a stranger in your home to care for loved ones. SALARY NEGOTIABLE
I have been doing caregiving service for more than 10 years and I would say that I have a great experience. I handled all kinds of client's situations from companionship to sick elders. I've been trained to handle hospice patients too. Most of my clients find me a very responsible and easy to get along person and I believe these basic qualities helped me most to be liked by my clients.
I think all elderly should be treated with patience and compassion just as if they where one of my very own family members. I will do the best I can to meet every need each person has as an individual. My goal at the end of my day is to know that each patient is comfortable and happy with the care that I have provided. Taking care of my elderly mother for just over 7 yrs showed me that if her care were handed of to another, I would need to know she was truly taken care of, and that is what I hope I can do for another family.
Certified PCA with 8+ years’ work in fast-paced environment handling confidential paperwork, administering medication and providing quality patient care. Qualified in home health care and hospice care settings. Established record of reliability and creating positive rapport with patients, family and staff. Experienced in serving chronically ill patients, including assisting with daily activities and household tasks. I am patient and highly compassionate. I really love helping others and I have dedicated these past 8 years to learning the skills necessary to do a great job. I have worked in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and In-Home-Care. My favorite is In-Home-Care because I get the chance to be more one-on-one with each person. Over the years I have not only created a service for the people that I have worked for, but I have gained life long friends and cherished memories. To me, there is no greater joy than that.

I am 25 years old, and I have a 3 year old son on the autism spectrum. I am very caring, loving, and patient. I appreciate spending time with me elders, and helping in any way I can. I am very friendly and a great listener. I have created a strong bond of friendship with everyone that I've cared for in the past, and I'm ready to make another one.
What makes me a great caregiver is the way I care for others. I like to take care of others as I would want to be cared for, I give lots of love, I am very kind, caring, thoughful, and always thrive to make sure the saftey of whom I caring for is well attended and cared for in the most safest way possible. I became a caregiver long before I became an adult. I would always reach out to help others and as I grew older it all came so naturally. I like being a caregiver honestly to help others in need, to have the best possible care that a person or child can receive, I know why I am here and its to help others. A personal achievment I am proud of is, tho I have my own family at home I am still able to care for them 100% while teaching my family its okay to lend a helping hand when in need.
Caregiving was not my Arena I first learned about it when my dad was terminal in 2007 and we hired a fantastic hospice team team. Throughout his illness and eventual death I saw the most compassion caring individuals then I had ever been blessed to meet. it was at that time that I decided I needed to give back. It was not in my plan to do this for an extended length of time but I find that I love what I do and I am very good at it. The thing I am most proud of is that my reputation has led me to many referrals and have kept me working this is not just my job this is my passion.
I am thoughtful and very caring.I know how to listen and not rush the client. i love to assist the client any and all hobbies. i guess would have to say that when i was teenager i did things for people and i did'nt know what caregiver was. I enjoy listening to their stories if they choose to chat. Personal achievement..... well i would my clients and family are happy that treat their mom or dad like they were my mom or dad
I am a pre-medical student and am thoroughly knowledgeable in disease progression and management. I have been working at a cancer center and have become well-versed in the management of cancer, palliative care, and the side effects associated with systemic treatments and comfort measures. I have always put my patients before myself in my line of work and I will not walk away from a situation until it is completed and all questions have been answered. I put my entire heart into caring for patients and that is why it has been my calling in life. In all of my healthcare jobs, I have grown close to all of my patients and have formed relationships I will never forget. I recently graduated from Arizona State University, with honors, and was featured at my local ASU campus as well as the main campus in Tempe for my distinctions. I credit my success in academia as well as my profession to my passion for healthcare and the drive to make a positive impact on all of my patients.
I am currently a caregiver for my mother-in-law and I am looking to be of service to another senior in need of care. I have been in the housekeeping industry for well over 30+ years. I was a family caregiver to both of my parents through cancer and Alzheimer's as well as my late husband through melanoma cancer. I have been a caregiver for other seniors in my local area where I provided companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping and errand running.
