I'm a great caregiver because I'm passionate about helping others! I began taking care of my Disabled Mother when she was diagnosed with Dementia. I was also taking care of a good friend of mine.

I have been in the medical field for 10 years. I started as a caregiver in 2010, because I enjoy helping others especially the elderly. In 2012 I decided to go to school to become a Medical Assistant, I completed my Medical Assistant course with high honors. I have been doing both Medical Assistant and Caregiving for the last 8 years and I wouldn't have it any other way, I love what I do and I love the quality time that I'm able to spend with each of my clients.

I became a Caregiver because I love taking care of and helping others. I was inspired by my grandmother and grandfather. What I like about being a Caregiver is, being a caregiver for 11 years has helped me in so many ways; I have worked in Hospitals, Nursing home Facilities, Private Duty, etc. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of sick people that need my help gives me joy in my heart and it lets me know they need people to work with them that care. A personal achievement I am proud of is being able to be in the health field for as long as I have. I am an honest, responsible, and a hard-working employee.

I love to help and care for seniors like they were my family. I have a lot of respect and compassion for seniors. I'm willing to go over limits to do anything for my clients to make them feel that they can rely on me and not have any worries.

I became a caregiver 11 years ago when I decided to leave my full time job and care for my aging parents and grandmother. My mother had been caring for my father who was a stroke patient for many years and then became responsible for my grandmother who had dementia. I could see her body getting tired and her health starting to fail so I became a caregiver for all three and I care for them until the day they died. I like being a caregiver because it gives you a chance to do a job that you have to want to do. My own personal achievement would be the care I was able to give my mother and time I took to learn how to care for her and being able to be there for her like she had been there for so many others. She went first but she went knowing that I was capable of caring for my father and grandmother just as she would have. I'm a Certified Phlebotomist /Medical Assistant and the mother of two small boys I like being a caregiver because it allows me to have a job helping people and still be and available mother to my boys.
