Hello. I have been a caregiver in Oakmont, an adult community in Santa Rosa since June 2015. I have worked with clients who suffered strokes, falls, dementia, cancer, back surgeries and just about everything in between. Prior to Oakmont, I worked for different hospices in Walnut Creek and San Luis Obispo while raising my family. I genuinely enjoy working with clients in their final stages of life. They have taught me so much about how to live fully despite the inevitable limitations of aging. Some days are better than others for all of us. On the tougher days, I try to keep everyone focused on appreciating the here and now. I also like to keep clients active both physically and mentally, if possible.
