I am a 43 year old with 18 years of experience working in this field of Nursing . I live in the city of San Francisco but I also spent a lot of time in my other apartment in the East Bay ( El cerrito City ) due to work and having a family members as well . I am a Licensed vocational Nurse (LVN) and a certified nursing assistant ( CNA) as well . I work with people with different types of disabilities and injures . And I have worked in several hospitals in San Francisco and in the East Bay as well. I am bilingual , I speak English and Spanish and i own my car . Why a caregiver it has always been in the family the nourishment and ability to help each other. I enjoy how my clients share their life history it means we have bonded in a personal way he or she is willing to give information that is usually meant for their family. I was a nanny before I start to become a caregiver. Someone ask me if I wanted to have a part time job as a reliever, doing private duty. Since then I worked as a caregiver from different agencies; doing private duties to becoming a certified hospice CNA. I am a hard worker, reliable, with lots of initiative and patience to take care of my clients. I love my job because theres a great satisfaction and fulfillment to know that you made a difference not only to your client but also their family.
