I have been a caregiver my whole life. At the age of 10 I had to assist my mother with multiple daily living activities. I currently still care for her. I have been working with seniors and elderly clients with dementia and Alzheimer's condition for many years. I assisted in the activities of daily life including bathing, dressing, transferring, incontinence, meal preparations, feeding, medication reminders and doctor's visits, run errands, laundry, light housekeeping, and companionship. I also helped the seniors to have exercises routine, speech therapy, reading, arts and other recreational activities. I enjoyed my job and what I do because I know that I am able to help others and it is a very rewarding job.

I'm a great caregiver because I always put my clients needs first. I became a caregiver so I can help those who can't help themselfs. I like helping the elder and people in general. My achievement is just being a caregiver.
