To be a caregiver is all I've ever wanted to do, I feel like I was born to be a caregiver. And I really love to communicate with elders. I can learn more life experience from them. Also I will be happy when I have the ability to bring some comfort to the elderly, that's so wonderful to see the smile on their face.

I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. My 40 plus years as a licensed Hairstylist has given me alot of people skills. I am an empathic soul and have compassion for people hurting or needing help. As I know, illness and aging is apart of life, if I can help to bring a caring, and comforting helping hand, I feel I'm doing something that is meaningfull.That brings me joy. I know GOD is using me in a beautiful way. I do my best to follow instructions given and make sure my clients needs are met. I stay focused on the job I'm doing. I'm adaptable . I am respectful and I expect the same in return. A personal achievement I am proud of is how I strive to continue to heal from adversity, grow personally and strive to accomplish the goals I set for myself. I am proud to be an independent contractor and entrepreneur for over 40 years.

I pride myself on how patient I am , I really love what I do , I've always been the caregiver of my family . What made me want to become a caregiver was one of my own aunts got stage 4 cancer and I then put myself in trade school for CNA so I could learn how to care for her . I enjoy all the different personalities and people I get to meet while providing care ... one achievement I'm proud of is making it 2 years in memory care as well as picking up skills in medtech

Everyone has a story. I like helping people and found working as a 'Home Care Aid' very fulfilling. Several years ago, my first client was a woman in hospice and I filled in so the family could get some rest. As I sat beside the lady, I looked around the room and saw pictures of her as a young woman on her wedding day, as a young mother and later as a grandmother. Her cook book was there with all kinds of personal notes etc. and just think I was so lucky to have been able to be there with her for that short time. Most of my clients I have been able to help with errands, transportation, meals, assisting with bathing and companionship. I value the time I have spent with the new friends I have made - short term and long term.

I am of Fijian nationality with legal residency. I reside in Carmichael, California. I have my own vehicle with a valid California license and registration. I am a very happy, reliable, outspoken, kind, honest, respectful, punctual, loving and caring person. I have experience as follows: assist in ADL, showers, wound dressings, grooming, personal hygiene, meal preparations, run errands, do groceries and do light housekeeping. I have provided care in a facility and in the clients home. I am a license Certified Nurse Assistant and a License Home Health Aid. I am registered in the California Care registry. I have experience in medication administration, Information Technology, book keeping, office administration and am computer literate. I am a team player and contribute a lot to efficiency and effectiveness in my required work and its surroundings. I have experience working in Subacute and Long term care. I enjoy being a careprovider because i can deliver my service and talents of love,care,help,patience,assistance,guidance,knowledge and joy to those that need it. I have an updated Covid test result which is Negative, A Negative TB result.

I am a great caregiver because I treat my client with respects and I don't treat them as little kids. I have respect to those who are around me. My expertise is to assist those who can't walk or in needed of help. I wanted to become a caregiver to help senior or anyone that needs my help. I enjoy being a caregiver as one day I will be in that stage and it always good to help those that can't able to care for themselves. I enjoying being a caregiver.
