I am a young women thriving to help our older generation have peace and comfort. My goal is to be there for others in time of need and to help them accomplish their daily activities. Companionship is my number one priority; I know we all just need someone to be there for us. This isn't only a job for me, it's a lesson because I learn from everyone that I assist and also fulfills my day as much as I hope it fulfills theirs. My greatest accomplishment has to be my communication skills and being able to really connect with the people I work with and different families I get to meet.

I am certified in First aid and CPR. I became a caregiver for a client who attended a day program for the mentally disabled as a temporary position to help while her normal worker was out on maternity leave. The client had many behaviors and refusals but she quickly turned all of that around and became very happy with me working with her. I ended up being offered the position full time and have continued to do that for a few years. I love making people happy and I am very family oriented and quickly accept you as one of my own which ensures the people I work with feel truly cared for. My husband is an officer of kern county and we have two children at the ages of 2 and 4. I love me current job however I work 40 hr/week and I am just missing my family and would like to cut back and work less to make time for my family. I would love to continue to be a caregiver for someone who needs me.
