Hello, I am a 20 year old full time student, with a part time certified nursing assistant position at mercy medical center. Im looking for an extra job with low hours. I have been a CNA since 2017, and love helping people as much as i can. I believe that sometime all that people need is company and a some help. For over 25 years I've been working in taking care of elderly people, my experience and knowledge has teach me to be patient and understanding to the needs of those who need me. I have always felt that Nursing and taking care of/helping people is my true calling. Ever since I can remember, I wanted to grow up to follow in my mom's footsteps and go into either Nursing, or a career focused on helping other people. I have a huge heart that is full of compassion, understanding, empathy, and love. I have a little over 8 years of experience now working as a CNA in a variety of settings such as: assisted living, nursing homes, private home care, hospitals, and independent contracting through agencies. I put 110% into my work, and sometimes probably go above and beyond what is asked of me. I am reliable, am a fast learner (who loves to learn as many new things as possible), a team player, detail oriented, patient, calm in stressful situations, friendly, organized, and am able to take on anything that is asked of me (multi-tasker). If ever I do not have an answer or solution to a question or problem that may arise, I am not afraid to ask questions so I know what the right solution is...in other words, I would never act as if I know it all because I certainly do not. I absolutely love taking care of people, and I do so in a personal and professional manner. Over my 8 years of experience working as a CNA/caregiver, I have never received any complaints from clients or family members of clients. I currently have been unemployed for over a year now, as I moved here to Merced from the central coast Monterey Bay Area, a little over a year now. It's been quite a struggle making ends meet, but I want to be sure that the job I finally do get, is one that I will love waking up to go to every day. I am very passionate and focused on what I do best, which is caring for other people.
