Thank you for taking the time to review my profile! I will start off by saying I've always had a heart [?]for the Elderly. My desire had started when I worked at Davita Dialysis clinic. For 2 years. I can honestly say you need to have compassion and empathy for these patients who enduring such critical treatment for their life. Its not something they looked forward too. Who wants to get stuck with 2 big needles , and sit in a chair for 2-4 hours 3 days a week. ?Nobody! I believe for most of our patients , what they did look forward to was seeing their PCT's who cared for them. I tried my best to bring a smile to their face, everyday make them laugh, give them hope, encourage them, let them know that I cared for each of my patients. If they allowed me , I prayed for them too. Last year I explored the in home caregiving field , a close friend of mine needed someone so desperately care for her grandmawmaw. To know that your not only helping that patient , you are also help that family. She was told she wouldn't be able to walk after for 4 months after her accident. I had her walking in 3 weeks! Being consistent and with her persistence doing our physical therapy exersizes everyday .My job duties were to cook her 3 meals a day, shop for her, light cleaning, campanionship, we read the bible, read our daily devotionals, she loved to sing worship songs and get her make up and lashes done by me. My other passions and jobs are Professionsl makeup Artistry and singer. We enjoyed eachother so much. I worked with her for 6 months. I was sad they had to let me go. They did not need my care any longer. But I gained so much experience. Before you make your decision in choosing your caregiver for your loved one I will end with this... I grew up in a very close-knit family, caring for nieces, parents and grands. I am an RN nurse in my country and decided to work as caregiver. I'm compassionate, caring and very attentive. I care for the elderly like a family.

Always was a caregiver from a young age I had to learn to care for my siblings and others in my family. From others perspective I care as if I'm caring for my own family. Because that's the love people need.

I have been in the Medical field for 25yrs. I'm a cert. CNA, EMT, Phlebotomist. I'm working in Corporate Health & Wellness and mobile Phlebotomist for home bound patients. I'm looking for something 2 or 3 days a week to supplement my single income. I have exp. with hospice, dementia, Alzheimer's, bipolar, mental health issues, bathing, transferring, meal prep. Diapers, errands, Medication reminders as well as drawing blood so patient won't have to sit in a lab. I started as a caregiver and found it very rewarding I was able to use my exp. to move up to be an EMT in the ER and on to becoming a forensic phlebotomist. I have an FBI clearance and have passed several background checks. One of my personal achievements have been using my exp. in the medical field to move up higher in my position while being a single mom of 2 children my daughter is now pre-med at USC my son is a sophomore in high school doing great!. About me: I'm a single mom of 2 wonderful children and I became a CNA after taking care of both of my parents until they passed so I know both sides of the job and what the families go through. I've worked hospice and home health for many years. I'm trustworthy, dependable, person Who treats my elder clients the way I would want my parents treated, with dignity and respect.

I'm phlebotomist and I had spent the biggest part of my life in hospitals and sharing my life with patients. Also I had worked for so many years at convalescent hospitals as CNA.
