Hello I've been an LVN for over 16 years and worked in behavioral health and skilled nursing care units. I've managed employees as an administrator in home care agencies across the bay area as well as a mentor and educator for caregivers and certified nursing assistants. I am a Licensed Psychiatric Technician and have over 15 years specializing in mental health care. Being a licensed individual by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians in California, I have provided nursing care in various settings and worked along side doctors and clinicians to provide high quality and individualized care to clients who have both medical and mental health needs. I am currently interested in and available for on-call/per diem weekend (Saturday 6am-10:30pm & Sunday 6am-7pm) long-term or short-term positions as I do maintain a full-time Monday-Friday work schedule and also currently working towards my Master's degree.

I am a 59 year old lady. I am an LVN with over 2yrs experience in a nursing home facility. I love being a nurse because I love to help people who were once upon a time independent; carry out some difficult task they cannot do due to illness or anything that may have stolen their independence from them. To see those priceless smiles on their faces, makes me feel fulfilled that I am helping improve the life of someone else. I am very compassionate. My personality just makes everyone around me happy. Working alone doesn't really bother me. I don't just look for direct solutions to problems, but always have the bigger picture in the back of my mind. I am confident, assertive and competent. I easily overcome every challenge am faced with. I do my best at whatever I do. I don't give up easily no matter what's the odds are. I strive for perfection. I am always willing to learn . I graduated as Vocational Nurse from Unitek College and am looking to further expand my experience in my skill set and looking to continue to grow in this field. In my VN program, I developed the skills to deliver impeccable health care and service towards patients. I have been trained in monitoring patients, updating information on vital signs and documents to effectively monitor their health. While working as an in-home health care provider , I was tasked to monitor patients for changes in status, provide a safe environment, assist with daily tasks, provide daily meals ,and give medications as directed. I persistently believe that I will bring the energy and dedication necessary to thrive in your Home.
