I am the most compassionate, patient, empathetic, kind, caring, hard working individual you will ever meet! I have enjoyed working in the medical field for 15+ years until i began caring for my loved one for 15 years who had dementia and later Alzheimers and wished to remain in her own home so i honored this wish and i found a new calling. Having a medical background and knowledge of diseases and symptoms and medications has been of benefit working as a caregiver and helps me to assess an individuals care needs as i always give 200% and strive to provide the best care possible.

Skills include transfers from wheelchair to bed or use Hoyer lift. Assisted with Personal care: includes, incontinence, Peri-care, Catheter care, Showers, Activities of Daily living. Have experience with Alzheimer/Dementia. Assisted with meal prep, light housecleaning, laundry. Other duties involved where grocery shopping, driving the client to doctors appointments. Organized pill box with correct medication in each compartment. I am compassionate, dependable, reliable person.

My Grandmother has worked as an LVN since I can remember. When i was a child, my most favorite part of Summer vacation was going to work with her at the retirement home she worked at. She is now the "head" RN for a large retirement home in Fresno, Ca, The Windham. To this day i still drop in every once in a while to just visit with some of the residents. Not only do I enjoy things like that, but countless times i have gone out dancing with friends and more iften than not, I will spot an elder gentleman ande ask him to dance. It's the simplicity that gets me. Something so simple like one dance, can make not only their day, but maybe even their week or month. I know I have made some memories of a lifetime, for both me and whomever that person may be.
