I am punctual, very compassionate about what I do for people who have lost some independence from a life event. Compassion for the family involved to help lessen the burden. I like to tell stories that help the family get to know who I am and I love to hear stories from them as well. I have made Caregiving my Career and take it seriously to become highly regarded and recommended. I enjoy helping the patient and their families keep their lifestyles they have without interruption. I like seeing results so with that being said, I had achieved my series 6 & 63 license (which was a challenge for me) and was proud to present products that would get higher interest with low risk. I also did debt settlements and was happy to negotiate the lowest rate for my clients to settle. I work hard and with compassion whether your my customer, patient, friend or family member because I believe everyone needs help sometimes and I look past any obstacles getting it done.
I consider myself to have been in the care business for a number of years at one time owning my own in home care services and then later graduating with a master's in counseling offering other services of clinical care, and pre need services. Now I'm at a point in my life that I just want to slow down a bit, still helping, but give of my time to families who are in need of help in Care giving. Care giving is very rewarding, no matter what capacity of care giving, it gives to self worth when you can truly find the time and open your heart to someone in need.
I am very kind and compassionate person. Actually got into this business because of a simple conversation with a potential employer regarding my own family experience's with providing care to ALS patient (mother-in-law) as well as my own father with dimentia/Alzheimer's disease. They respond well to my personality and I have the required patience to aid them with their daily activities. I am also there to talk to them when they need. I speak English, Visaya, Tagalog and a little bit of Japanese.
I chose to become a caregiver when my Uncle who was on hospice could not be placed in a skilled facility due to no beds available they said. Most recently I have been employed 40 hours a week caring for a 71 year old female with frontal temporal dementia.
