I first decided to be a caregiver after helping my parents care for my grandparents and then myself caring for my uncle and mother. I absolutely love what I do! I love helping people in particular seniors. I am very passionate and determined that whomever I care for will enjoy their time around me.My ultimate goal is to make sure every client I come in contact with remembers me, keeps their dignity intact, and no matter their situation making sure they can smile through it. I'm most proud of the fact that every client I have had has wanted and kept me until circumstance no longer permitted. I am also proud that I will be pursuing my nursing career because of my love of caregiving.
Being a Health Care Provider has been my ultimate passion for over 5+ years. I enjoy making a difference in people's lives by working carefully and effectively to meet each of my clients daily needs. I adapt well to many personalities and understand that a person's health issues can be the cause of most bad or good days so I take nothing personal as I am a professional care provider and respect all my clients wants and needs no matter how challenging or simple the task may be. I also believe that showing up on time and every time I have committed to being of service to a client according to their daily schedules is very vital. Generally when a persons health is fragile attendance is very important. It can make all the difference in how a person may feels overall. To me it is important when I am attentive and caring to all my clients time and needs. So, I strive for perfect attendance. Its also important for you to know that I don't drive. However, I can arrange for other transportation assistance via Lyft, Uber, or local Medical transporters available for assistance. My job is to make you happy comfortable and make sure your health is on track to your physician, family members, and of course your individual needs. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to meet new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh!
