I have been a caregiver my whole life It started with observing my Mother. I don't reserve my caregiving to just people, it just requires care. I like to bring Joy to those who have lost so much, and they are usually the nicest people. In several cases I have been one of the last people to help them feel "normal" . My ideal job would be for someone who wants to "get better". I have great energy for thatAt the end of the day you feel good by helping to stretch out normal It can get stressful, but i enjoy what I do.. I have been at the feet of people who are passing, and the feet of someone who died and returned. I can help with physical therapy, am a good cook, and know our hospitals. I can do far more than clean.

I was certified and successfully completed my Personal Care Assistant Training Course, and I had 8 yrs. of caregiving experienced, I had a sincere desire to help people in need and provide them compassionate care. I had a personality that is patient,caring, mature, and sensitive to a client needs. Nursing is a calling for me. Making sure that people receive the best possible care I am able to provide is my most important goal. Using Mama or Papa and other terms of endearment are not appropriate for me personally in professional healthcare. I have been employed as an In-home Caregiver since last November. I also cared for a lady in the 90s for over two years. I am currently caring for a lady in Granite Bay; however, I am looking for a client closer to my home and with whom I could spend more hours. I am blessed with excellent health, am active, am optimistic, happy and passionate about making a difference in someone's life. I feel I would bring joy, laughter, happiness, and companionship to that client. I have been fingerprinted and a background check has been completed. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Certified Home Health Aide(California Dept of Public Health),with over three years experience in Hospice, Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, as well as experience in bathing, grooming and dressing, food/nutrition management, safety supervision, ambulation and transfers, medication reminders, and various activities of daily living.
