I am a very patient, caring, nurturing person. I am also very honest, dependable, and a fast learning hard worker. I am pretty flexible just need 24 to 48 hours notice usually. I have my own car and I speak English and am currently learning sign language. I am also a certified medical assistant with a CPR certification. I also have some experience with ALS and Alzheimer's.
I believe that the elderly should be treated with respect, care and offered caring assistance. My goal is to assist seniors so that they could maintain an independent lifestyle. At the same time, loved ones and family members could feel comfortable knowing that a caring person is there to help. In the past, I have worked with seniors and children with disabilities. I'll be happy to provide assistance in daily living which can include light housekeeping: sweeping, dusting, changing linen, washing dishes etc. meal preparations, assistance in eating, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and often snacks as well. Running errands grocery shopping, pharmacy ect. taking client to medical appointments, keeping up on my clients' hygiene, lite physical/ massage therapy or exercise routine as needed, weekly laundry. I'm very compassionate, loving, kind-hearted, intelligent, fast learner, good listener, patient, understanding, honest & humble, as well as trustworthy. Companionship is of high importance as well. My hours of availability are open at this time; if weekends or other hours are required it can possibly be worked out. For new clients, payscale can be negotiable I take in consideration needs, driving time etc.
I take pride in providing quality services to those that would otherwise not be able to care for themselves alone. The smile on their faces makes me feel I have accomplished my job. I have always enjoyed helping others and the elderly have a special place in my heart as I was raised to respect others and shared precious moments with my grandparents that I cherish still today. What I find in serving others is that I get an opportunity to learn as well. I am a good listener, client centered with compassion. Empathy is embedded in my personality. Being an experienced caregiver I am familiar with the job and very much enjoy each day at work.
1. I have always had a passion for taking care of seniors citizens as well as infants. 2.knowing that my residents are comfortable and happy. 3.Making my residents smile and doing activities they wouldn't usually do ...stepping outside of their every day routine. 5. I am very outgoing loving chipper and always wanting to help out in any way possible.
I have worked as a CNA for over 9 years and as an HHA for over 5 years. I enjoy what I do. My goal is to become a nurse and being a CNA and a Caregiver is a good first step. Whenever I work with my clients, my aim is to find creative ways to encourage them to do something more than they have done before. Though working with various clients has its ups and downs, it is especially exciting for me to see someone get better while in my care. Even a little progress is better than no progress at all.
I became a CNA/HHA at age 17.I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help others.I have worked in several facilities as a caregiver working my way to become a med.tech, supervisor and cottage manager.I have worked for a number of families as well. Most recently, i cared for my mother for a period of 5 years+, untill her death at age 95 on 11/11/15. I am looking forward to going back to work to care for and love someone who needs assistance.
I have always been a caregiver in many ways. I was a stay at home mom until my son entered school. At that time I worked as a teachers aide at the school my son attended. After I moved to Florida I then took care of my mother until she passed in 2014. In 2013 I obtained my CNA license and went to work taking care of my clients that were given to me by my employer as I worked for an agency. I enjoy being around people and taking care of the client as well as their household. I have always been a very hard worker and was taught to give my all to any job that was given to me. I am a very down to earth individual and love being with people. I am not afraid of working and I am very reliable and dependable. I love being a caregiver.

I do this because my clients love being in my company. I reassure the clients by my experience they are in great hands. I always put smiles on my clients faces also I believe in giving gifts to brighten the day. I love being a caregiver because I know I make a difference in the clients lives.
