I enjoy working with the elderly and making elderly and making them feel comfortable in their own skin. To feel powerless when you get old is one of the worst things a individual can experience. I have so so much experience with elderly people and those that are dependent on a wheelchair. I can honestly say I enjoy the company of those who can no longer care for themselves. My goal as a caregiver is to be able to give back power to those who feel hopeless and bring happiness to the life they have left. I currently am working with a quadriplegic elder lady that I love to death but she plans to move to Washington this November. I know I have made a difference in her life and also a friendship that will last forever. Hello my name is Venisha Briggs, and what makes me a great caregiver is I let my clients be as independent as possible whether it's bathing themselves or just pouring a cup of coffee over the past 5 years I learned a lot of my clients loved to do so much for themselves no matter what they circumstances were. The reason why I became a caregiver is because I love helping people and keeping people happy and enjoy seeing people feel good about having someone who's there for them,so I took on this profession why not get paid for something you love doing right?
