I have been a caregiver for my step dad who has passed on and I work for a company in gainesville, florida for a short time where I worked with a young lady for 12 hrs and an elderly lady that was in a wheelchair where I had to make lunch or dinner sometime breakfast, help keep the house clean, help with bathing and I was also there companion

I have been a caregiver for 15 years. My love for others prompted me to become a caregiver. I enjoy the reward of helping people who are less fortunate and can no longer do as much as they once could do for themselves. I can help cook, help with housecleaning, laundry, errands, shopping, transportation to any kind of appointment, and give compassionate and loving companionship. I love providing home care giving services to those that would otherwise would not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client's day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. I recently took the emt course and competed it esrning my emt certification and plan to take my state exam soon. I also took a cna course and I'm in the process of waiting to be approved for testing. I've worked at Dixie Old Town Rental as a secretary until it closed this past year, as a secretary. I'm a hard working and passionate person and would love to get involved in home health.
