I've been a Medical Assistant for 9 years and love caring for people. While a majority of my medical career has been spent in pediatrics, I've experienced caregiving for seniors part-time throughout the last 15 years. I'm just as passionate about healthcare as it relates to Seniors and/or those with physical limitations, as I am about children. I believe what makes me a great caregiver, is my compassion for people along with my experience. I'm comfortable doing almost any task as it relates to in-home care. I can cook a variety of meals for any dietary need, I love to sit and provide conversation or entertainment, I'm experienced in medical care and have no issues tracking or administering medicine, I can easily handle shopping or grocery needs, and I have no problem providing physical assistance for bathing, grooming, and mobility requirements. I'm a wife and mother of 2, so I know how to maintain a household and care for those who can't care for themselves.

I love what I do! I have been careing for the elderly for 25+ years. I feel there is a great need to keep seniors in their own homes as long as possible. I love the interaction of one on one and helping people stay active and healthy. I cared for both of my parents until they both passed in 2014 and I know how much it means to have someone you can trust with your loved ones. My mother had dementia and COPD my father was blind paraplegic and diabetic wheelchair-bound. My clients become like family to me.

I strive to always treat my patients as I would expect to be treated if I was in their situation. I love helping others, especially the ones who need my help to live as normal of a life as possible. Im very dependable, intelligent, and willing to learn anything that crosses my path to help me better my world and the world of my patients.There is never a time when you cant make any situation into a learning experience.
