I consider myself to be a compassionate person. I am a retired nurse and previously was employed as a hospice nurse. I am especially proud of the care that I was able to provide for my parents before they passed away. I have years of experience in the geriatric field and understand the characteristics of the aging process. I am currently seeking part time employment. References upon request.
I've always been a care giver, because I was caring for my parents as to taking them to Dr. appointments and teaching how to take their meds and any Dr. follow- up. So I decided to take the CNA course from there went for my LPN. I love comforting others especially when facing an illness people usually feel incompetent, depress, anger because they can no longer do what they usually do on a daily routine and they depends on others to help them until they make a full recovery or while they're on their death bed. One of my personal achievement that I'm proud of is finishing nursing school for my RN. I'm soon to take My board to officially become an RN. I've been an LPN for 7 years. I'm caring, compassionate, honest, team player. Being a care giver is what I do and I wouldn't have any other way. P.S I'm able to travel all over the world if needed!

I've provided approximately 13 years of home health care. First, I was a CNA and a live in caregiver for seniors for 5 years, before I became an LPN. For 8 years and counting, I've continued to provide compassionate caring and patient care, with an expertise in hospice and palliative care, to my I enjoy seeing my clients satisfied with the loyal, responsible and empathetic care I've given them, be it with a treatment or just emotional support. Engaging my clients in conversation about their past, likes and dislikes is so enriching for a client who is not well or weak. Outings if possible for a walk, the hairdresser, a park, museum, beach, or just ice cream can boost a clients quality of life immensely, as well as music therapy. I have witnessed people get well and recover in my care. I am a loving and kind person who loves to see people laugh and I have a winning personality.
I'm originally from Long Island and came to FL in 98'. My healthcare career began in 2000 when I attended EKG/ CardiovascularTechnician school. I moved to TN in Sept. 2000 and landed my first ALF caregiving job. When I returned back in 2002, I started my second one and after that. I just fell in love with taking care of people and eventually went and furthered my education by attending surgical tech, phlebotomy and LPN schools. I give my all to whomever I'm caring for. Keeping in mind that their needs come first, that I am a guest in their home and it's a privilege to be welcomed there. I've been asked by numerous residents/patients if I liked my job, I respond with , " No, I love it!" To be able to spend time with those in need, and to be able to relate to the feeling even though our situations may be different, nonetheless, it's the emotional component that makes people get that you understand what they are going through and that they aren't alone. I give every person I come in contact with 110% of my undivided attention and that all needs or wants and met to the best of my ability. ** I had a level 2 backgtohnx check completed last December and still have on active background check available for viewing if needed,
