I became a caregiver because i wanted to help others to help themselves and because I enjoy knowing that I can make a difference in someones life. I like knowing that I can make someones life that much easier just by being patient, understanding, kind, loving, and willing to listen as well as paying attention to things to help them in their everyday life. I have 3 beautiful children ages 23, 17, and 14 2 boys and a girl she is the youngest I love working with others and don't mind working hard I would not change what i do for anything I love the challenge of being able to change things around for people when most people might think that it is a waste of time I believe that any and everything is possible if you work hard enough for it.

I am a qualified caregiver who loves to help give others the assistance they need. Ive been a caregiver for over 10 years and this profession has led me to my career. The trainings that Iv'e completed has shaped me into one of the most amazing caregivers.

I have worked in the school district as substitute teacher for four years. Before that I worked as a private Nanny who also did home care work with other family members in the households. I have worked a lot with children with disabilities as a home care giver and as a para professional in the school district. I ran errands, planned schedules, answered phones, took kids to and from activities, and provided meals, helped with toilet training, and bath time. I have also worked with older family members which has always been enjoyable for me. I would drive them to and from where they needed to go, help with groceries, give them medication, laundry, assisted with feedings and other needed things around the house.

I have worked with a variety of clients that have depression, multiple sclerosis, Down syndrome, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and elder care. I was attracted to caregiving because I really enjoy helping others and making a difference in people's lives. I enjoy the relationships that have developed in my experience with being a CNA. I never thought that I would be able to do this type of work, and by having an open mind to try something new, I discovered that helping others is quite intuitive to me as well as extremely rewarding.

The two qualities in being a caregiver is having compassion and empathy. I have them both. I am a lovely caregiver. I have experience from working with my mother over night. Each of her patients love me, I love them as well. I love being a caregiver because being around the elderly makes my heart melt. They have a sense of completion, lived life, and wise as can be.
