I became a caregiver back in 2010. I became a caregiver due to whenwas young my father was in a nursing home and he wasn't getting the proper care he was suppose to. So when I got older and was able to attend school to receive my CNA/HHA certificates I did. I have been a CNA for the past 6 years. I chose CNA, because I didn't want families to experience what I have with my father. I'm a very people person who loves to help others and very dedicated, hardworking, and dependable.
As a caregiver, I am committed and dependable. Likewise, I am always attuned to the needs of the patient even if he or she does not or is unable to communicate them. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I play a vital role in the life of another person. It can requires dedication, compassion, stamina and hard work. In addition, I am keenly aware that providing care for another person is uncharted territory. And most people are unprepared for this role. There are no courses on how to be a good caregiver. There is no textbook on what to expect. Somehow, I have figured it out. I learn everything I can and get creative when I have to. As well as, I do my best at all times.
I am a licensed CNA and Phlebotomist, that got into the nursing field because of personal experience in giving care to my sister and grandmother. The joy a caregiver gets, when seeing that their hard work is appreciated and the difference it has made to the patient and family members, knowing that their loved ones are getting great care.
If you looking for a reliable caregiver that's willing to help your love one that has years experience since 1998. I started by helping my grandparents with special medical conditions as well taking care of my mother (3 years ago) with cancer until the end. My achievement is when the caregiver/family member is comfortable and pleased with your services. That's a true accomplishment/ blessing taking care of people that needs the extra help in life.
