I believe my most useful qualities in this role are patience and kindness. I as a caregivers I'm good listeners and empathetic conversationalists. Also, I am a good detail-oriented, diligent problem solvers and have technical medical skills to apply to patients as needed.

My personality positive attitude, very welcoming and understanding. I have a disabled brother and I care for him so I put a little extra care in as if they are my family. Im a great caregiver because I have 2 beautiful daughters and always trusted that they were in great care when they were small and I worked. I also cared for my mom when her health failed. So from caring for them and making sure they had great caregivers makes me know that whomever needed a caregiver would want someone that has a caring heart for people and would treat them as you want to be treated also their love ones. In 1986 I furthered my education in the healthcare field and from then until for I've been working as a Certified Nurse Asst., Home health aid Private Duty Caregiver. I currently operates an Adult Family Care Home were I have live-in Mental impaired residents of whom I've cared for for many years, I also work with Developmental Clients, Alzheimer's Residents too. I love caring for the elderly, Mental, and disabled persons that need help with ADL and that are unable to provide services for themselves. I don't single anyone out or label them I treat them as family and as they are just as you and I HUMAN I see myself not being able to care for myself and often feels that I could be in the same position and would want someone who cares about me and my needs and have the heart to help in areas that I m in need of. So from 1980 until now my heart still goes out to those in need of CARE.

I have been caring for seniors in Assisted Living/Memory care for 21+ years. And group homes as a companion for 2 years. I enjoy spending time and caring for seniors. I am very patient, honest, and understanding. And I go beyond what is required. I have my own vehicle and can take your loved one to Dr. Appointments, grocery store, and any fun activities they might enjoy. I love to make life fun for my clients and I love what I do. Hi, my name is Felisa Lowe, I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant. Since 1993 I'm a dependable, qualified, and honest person in my call of duty. I love and have the upmost respect to my patients and others to serve and give them the best possible care in what their health allows me to do. I took care of my mother and sister at the same time,who was both on dialysis while their time on this earth. They did not have to go into a nursing home,because they had me, someone who was qualified to do the job at home,this was my greatest challenge, but it worked out fine. This really attracted me to continue to work as a caregiver. Knowing how to communicate to other officials and getting the job done right. I have worked to many Health CareAgencies, Nursing Home,and Hospitals. I know and have been trained by the best in the field. My biggest achievement was when I continue to become a Licensed Practical Nurse to really upgrade my skills,because I really care about people health problems and I look at myself and say. Growing up (in my young teenage years), I would help my paternal grandmother and paternal aunts in taking care of my paternal great-grandmother. She was diagnosed with dementia. My great-grandmother didn't want to go to a nursing home, nor was she ready to leave her own home. Since my great-grandmother only lived two houses away from my grandmother (her daughter), I would go spend the day, and some nights taking care of my great-grandmother. My great-grandmother was still able to move around with the help of her cane and walker; however, I or a relative of mine would be standing close by to make sure that my great-grandmother didn't have any accidents. I would aid her in bathing and dressing, as well as, with helping her cook. My great-grandmother liked to take walks outside to tend to her gardens and two pear trees. So my great-grandmother and I would spend time outside doing what she loved. I would hold conversations with my great-grandmother because she loved to talk. Around about 99 years old, my great-grandmother had gotten to the point where she was having a lot of minor accidents. She wasn't able to walk as good anymore with her cane or walker. Eventually, my great-grandmother had to move in with my grandmother, and be confined to a hospital bed. We would still hold conversations with my grandmother, and would very often recall memories of things we did with her. Even though it was hard work in aiding for the care of my great-grandmother, it was one of the best things I enjoyed most growing up as a teenager. Come April of 2002, my great-grandmother passed away at the age of 101. She passed away a month before my high school graduation. Every since then, I always knew that I wanted to help people in any way that I can. I worked at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, FL for 11 years as a Direct Professional Caregiver. I have seen many come and go. I have cared for residents between the ages of 14-90 years old.
