Hello! My name is Keesha and I have been a caregiver, for a little over 2 years. I have traveled the world, worked some of the best jobs, eaten amazing food, been to some spectacular shows, museums and events, but caregiving has been the most rewarding experience thus far. As a 31 year young woman, there is always significant age difference between my clients and I, and I think that's what makes our relationships so special. Each client is like a new book. My Name is Clara I am from Syracuse New York I am a certified home health aide through the state of New York I have been doing this line of work every since 2012 . I moved to Fort Myers to take care of my mom in 2015. In that same year I start working for Mr.Robert Taylor for two years we just move him into Assistant Living in December of 2017 ,but I still see him once a week to take him for errands if needed. Sorry to say , but Mr. Taylor passed in 2018. My current employer is Mr. And Mrs. Antisdale I started Oct 2019 And I am presently with them. As for my profession I specialize : Dementia, Alzheimer, Medication management, and Hospices care , daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, meals preparation transferring if need it and light house keeping. Hours I can work 9:00a.m -5:00 p.m M-F NO WEEKENDS

I am a very calm person and have been told by many of my clients and their families. I have a warm personality and find great fulfillment with working with the elderly. I actually lived with my grand aunt for many years and so was from a relatively earlier age was taking care of her. I am proud of the fact that when I leave my clients when my case is up, many of the families stay in touch because of the bond that was formed between their parent and myself. I also have families who keep in touch with me for over 8 years!! I just plain and simple love people.

I am caring, I take my time in focusing on the needs of my clients. I became a caregiver when I was 18 years old after growing up in a family of care providers. My dad was fireman and mom was a nurse. Being a caregiver is more than a job, it is a passion for me. I believe wisdom teaches knowledge, and I view working with the elderly as a blessing. It is not just a paycheck but a gift to have the opportunity to help my clients. I have helped many clients and most until the end of their lives. My grandmother was one of them that inspired me to keep taking care of those in need. After her stroke, I took care of her for 6 years until she passed away. I have complete understanding and empathy of how important loved ones are to families. I treat my clients like they are my family.
